Description

The Shinn Slicer is a complete re-invention of the split board concept. The goal was to produce a split board that’s performance, quality and style are worthy to carry the Shinn name in a package that’s easy and convenient to travel with.

An innovative 3-piece split features both board and PU connector all engineered to fit seamlessly together in a way that’s secure and strong yet at the same time doesn’t inhibit the boards flex profile.

Traditional split designs produce double or even triple laminate layers through the connection area making smooth and consistent flex control next to impossible.

The unique Shinn-S connection reduces the dangerous perpendicular stresses that heavy landings incur and allows a rail to rail aligned connector pin –a critical feature allowing the board to flex aroundthe retention pin rather than trying to bend it as a tip to tip alignment would encourage.

Suitable for riders from intermediate and even up to advanced freerider the Slicer is the seamless blend of practicality, performance and technology.

Footbed and Straps:

The connection between rider and board can make or break the quality of your ride. Of course they should look slick but only after the function is perfect.

Shinn Kiteboarding’s deep section EVA cushioning ensures luxurious comfort even during the harshest landings, whilst a carefully placed section of memory foam adjusts the surface to the shape of your feet after only a couple of hours riding. Multi-position fixation points allow you to fine tune your stance to perfection. The Shinn footstrap has been shaped to provide maximum grip on your foot with minimal pressure points and complete ease of adjustability.

Fins

All Shinn twin tips are supplied with high visibility Nylon fins and deck protection plates. Shaped exclusively for Shinn (for unsurpassed durability), this 53mm shape provides exceptional grip for it’s size whilst still offering great manoeuvrability.
