How do I use Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In?

Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In is designed to be used in the washing machineat a rate of 100ml per garment. Be aware that the performance of your rainwear may be reduced by how dirty it is and sometimes a simple wash with a specific product such as Nikwax Tech Wash is all that is needed to restore its waterproofing. If that’s not enough, then use Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In waterproofing.

Machine use:

• remove any detergent residue from your machine’s detergent compartment.
• Load the clean garment(s) into the machine (2 garments maximum).
• Use 100ml of product per garment.
• Choose a 30° synthetic cycle with slow spin.

Use by hand:

• Immerse 1 garment in a 6 liter basin of warm water.
• Pour 50 ml of product.
• Stir, leave to act for 5-10 minutes, and stir again.
• Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
