It features a lightweight construction, with a poplar and karuba wood core, reinforced by basalt and carbon fibres for better torsional stiffness, without any weight penalty.

The QST Echo 106 is a versatile touring ski with a construction that allows to be efficient on every terrain. The core combines two wood types and is reinforced by basalt and carbon to be more playful. The 106 mm wide waist offers very good floatability on powder, to explore remote spots. The traditional camber section guarantees edge hold on hardpack, while the double rocker facilitates pivots and the ability to lift on powder. The front rocker makes the ski more manoeuvrable on soft snow, while the rear rocker increases the forgiveness on hard snow.
