Bringing you a tremendous blend of new school construction and old school design. Stewart’s Hydro Glide model gives you maximum forgiveness, ultimate fun and progression. You will surf more waves than ever, for longer than before and your surfing will benefit from this!
Pulling together an outline with a pretty flat rocker, fullness through the board and bevelled rails allows this longboard to paddle like a steam boat, but turn with incredible ease. You get the perfect pairing or performance, ease and progression.
This Soft Top version of Bill Stewart’s Hydro Glide model is constructed with a thermal-formed EVA deck which offers great traction and is kinder on your knees and ribs when paddling. This construction is a great option for the beginner or improving surfer who wants to progress but is not quite ready for a hard deck board. Performance is not affected by the soft deck and the board surfs just as well as the Tuflite version. The Soft Top Custom Performance boards are number 1 for surf-school and rentals and have been a consumer favourite for more than 20 years. Essentially what you’re getting is a high-end epoxy surfboard topped with the durable EVA deck which will also extend the lifespan of the board protecting it from dings to the nose, tail and rails.
