- Ski touring boot 4-Quattro Sl Wmn Black Lagoon
The 4-Quattro Sl Wmn Black Lagoon from Scarpa is the lightest women’s freetouring ski boot on the market (among models featuring GripWalk soles). It is a high-quality hybrid boot, at the same time ultra-lightweight and very powerful to have real fun in the descents. With its 61° of range of motion and GripWalk grippy sole, it is also very practical when walking.
What is the program of the Scarpa 4-Quattro Sl Wmn Black Lagoon ski boot?
This boot stands out first and foremost with its light weight of only 2.58 kg a pair in size 25. If it weighs so little, it is because it is made out of an innovative material called Pebax. Produced from ricin oil, Pebax has numerous qualities: it is 20 % lighter than the other elastomers generally used for ski boots (such as TPU), but is more resistant to impacts and UV light and offers better energy feedback. The 4-Quattro Sl Wmn Black Lagoon is made from a recycled version of Pebax, called Pebax Rnew. Thanks to this material, it can provide real comfort in the ascents when touring. You will probably still be full of energy when you reach the top, ready to enjoy the descent. When you are on your way down, you will benefit from the carbon insert in the upper and the flex rating of 120 to ski the backcountry with power and dynamism. Finally, the four buckles and PVC free power strap will provide precision and confidence.
Who is the Scarpa 4-Quattro Sl Wmn Black Lagoon ski boot for?
The 4-Quattro Sl Wmn Black Lagoon is meant for advanced and expert skiers who do not want to make any compromise when touring: if you want a boot that is at the same time powerful for the descents and lightweight for the climbs, stop searching, you have found the one! Its last volume of 100 mm makes it particularly suitable for skier with average feet.

Last The boot last is basically the width of your forefoot. It gives a good idea of how comfortable the boot is.
Beginners and intermediates:go for a wide boot last between 102 and 106mm. They will provide high riding comfort.
Advanced:we recommend a moderate last, between 100 and 102mm. This will offer a good combination of comfort and hold.
Experts:you want a narrow fit, a boot last under 100mm will provide you with ultimate precision.
Of course, these tips need to be adapted to yourself. If your feet are pretty narrow, no need to get a boot with a wide last of you won’t get enough hold and vive and versa, if you got wide feet, get a wider last to make sure you fit in!
