Description

The Futures AM1 Honeycomb thruster fin was designed by legendary Channel Islands Surfboards founder and shaper Al Merrick with a moderate flex pattern suited to pointbreak and nice walling waves.
The AM1’s wider base produces heaps of drive from the bottom turn and the refined tip allows the fin to release in the top turn. The emphasized rake produces a confidence inspiring amount of hold when you’ve got a rail buried and the medium flex from the Honeycomb construction gives the feel of glass-ons (can anyone remember glassed on fins?), a bit stiffer than Blackstix and a little more flex than Fibreglass fins.
