Description

The Flysurfer VMG has been designed to meet the requirements of Formula Kite Racing competitions. This results in prime angles and peak speed on the racecourse setting the benchmark in kite performance. The VMG is undisputedly the most successful and potent race competition kite available.

VMG:

Velocity Made Good (VMG) ensures the athletes make the most effective use of their resources and reach the finish line in the shortest time possible. The VMG aims to minimize the resistance encountered during sailing, allowing the kite to harness more available wind energy and convert it into forward motion. The kite sits far forward in the wind window and has an enormous depower to cover an extensive wind range. This enables the athlete to use a big kite in relation to the wind speed while staying in control, focusing on body position, and looking out for wind shifts. Maintaining a consistent load on the hydrofoil is crucial to extracting the VMG’s full potential.
