Description

The Almond Butter is a shortboard built for out and out fun. Designed by pro surfer Rob Machado, who is well known to carve his own path in the surfing world, and his designs reflect that. The Almond Butter is predominantly suited to waist to head high waves, but is versatile enough to be surfed in bigger stuff and has been proven to more than hold it’s own in well overhead hollow waves. The board comes as a five fin set up, allowing you to ride it as a quad or thruster. The classic shortboard design with a healthy sprinkling of Rob’s magic will suit any surfer.

There’s a lot of volume packed into this shortboard, with a pinched tail for extra sensitivity. Low rocker will have you flying over dead sections no problem.

Construction:TimberTek is a combination of a lightweight EPS core, Firewire’s super effective parabolic rail construction, sustainably-grown wood deck skin and an Entropy bio-resin hot coat. All of these merge to create an extremely lightweight and durable surfboard, yet with all the high performance characteristics of Firewire’s existing technologies.
