Description

The Channel Islands Ultra Joe is an updated and refreshed take on the original and iconic Average Joe. The Original ‘Joe’ was an out-and-out groveller where this new Ultra Joe is a little sleeker with some extra dialled in performance but still delivering bucket loads of fun.
In truth the new Ultra Joe has very little in common with its more rotund predecessor. A totally reworked outline is the first obvious change; the nose is narrower (fits slightly better waves), a double bump squash tail (faster release and better hold), foiled rails, reworked rocker with added exit rocker (allows the board to pivot and release the fins faster). The result is one of those surfboards you just grab when the surf is average or the line-up is crowded and you just want an effortless session.
Yes the Ultra Joe is a completely different animal to the original Average Joe but the one constant is the fun factor!
