The Channel Islands TPH Mid has been inspired by the beautiful clean lines and extended rail-lines of traditional ‘eggs’ and single fins, the addition of the TPH bottom contours really brings this board to life. The board itself is really flat with just enough tail and nose lift to keep it from bogging, the rails are pulled down to give a responsive sporty feel. The TPH is a spine running down the length of the board with scoops either side that run out to but not all the way to the rail, have a look at our video review to see more clearly. The TPH deisgn generates instant lift which in turns gives you speed that you won’t have felt in a mid before. The TPH design also allows the board to shift from rail to rail more easily giving you a really lively surf.
