Its been a long process but we have finally landed the Almond surfboard range. We hunt high and low to find boards that will work for our customers and we’re super stoked to get the Almond family on board. These board not only look amazing, the finish is as good as we’ve ever seen but they surf fantastically well too.
Almond surfboards is a family run business in Costa Mesa California. Everything they do is a considered decision, from the fully Recyclable R Series boards to the current range, they’ve designed boards for people who want to get the most out of their surfing.
The Joy model is the one of the best sellers in the range, it’s a total crowd beater and is super versatile. The low entry rocker and generous volume will help you to catch more waves, and glide into those waves earlier. A double concave runs through the back third of the board to help generate lift and glide and the pintail and slight vee help it turn, even from the middle of the board. Mid-lengths like this board offer the ability to glide on smaller days, or to get into waves extra early when it’s a little bigger. The Joy is a safe bet to maximise your surfing fun no matter what the conditions. The longer versions offer a longboard feel and give the ability to walk the board and the shorter versions have a pivot that allows you to turn off the tail.
