Description
The new Aipa Big Brother Sting colab with Surftech in their excellent Tuflite V-Tech technology has landed. The Aipa surfing legacy started with Ben and is now continued by Duke Aipa, this model the Big Boy Sting features the trademark Aipa wing design and has become perhaps the most iconic of the Aipa boards.
The Big Brother Sting is a monster paddler and wave catcher that also turns. There aren’t many boards that can pack in 90+ litres and still turn, welcome to the Big Boy Sting, its kind of unique in how it surfs. Wide up the front for stability and glide but pulled in at the tail to allow rapid changes in direction. The great thing about this board is that it makes even the poorest of conditions fun, it will work in the worst imaginable waves but in the good stuff it surfs like a much smaller board. If you’re looking for a longboard to do it all then have a dig into the Big Brother Sting. The fin set up gives loads of options, ride as a single fin, 2 + 1 or quad depending on the waves and how you want the board to work.
The Surftech Tuflite V-Tech construction features a closed cell EPS core which won’t soak up water if you hole the board, epoxy resin and E glass, this gives you a lightweight board that will retain its performance and integrity indefinitely. This hand finished beauty is a brilliant all round option, this surfboard colab between Aipa and Surftech is a winner!
