Completely redesigned to meet the demands of today’s compact mallet player, the near-face balanced Studio Style Squareback delivers soft sound and feel with the line’s new Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) face insert that includes new chain-link face milling technology, while providing new alignment and design features that promote a square setup and stroke.

A new black anodized aluminium heel-toe inlay creates separation between the front and back of the putter with a two-tone perpendicular alignment feature that enhances the squareness of the putter to the target line.

With a dialled-in sole draft angle for immediate square setup at address and the crisp, angular features of the latest evolution of this celebrated design, everything about the Squareback is designed to enhance alignment and improve feel.

Designed for the compact mallet player seeking a mallet companion to the Newport 2 head, the near-face balanced Squareback has a two-tone perpendicular alignment feature that assists players in keeping the putter square through the impact area.

Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) Face Insert

The new precision milled Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) insert delivers the unmistakably soft sound and feel of carbon steel, updated for the modern era with an electroless nickel plating for enhanced durability.

Chain-Link Face Milling Technology

New chain-link face milling technology reduces the putter face insert’s touch points at impact with the ball using a texture that softens the sound and provides improved roll characteristics while preserving feel and feedback off the putter face.

Mid-Bend Saft

The Studio Style Squareback is designed with a stepless steel shaft engineered to minimize face rotation—or arc—in the putting stroke by incorporating a single “mid” bend aimed directly down the target line.

Full Contact Slim Grip

With a comfortable chain-link texture to match the new putter face milling pattern, the custom crafted Full Contact Slim paddle-style grip was designed to complement the stroke and performance of blade and mid-mallet putters. Its uniquely contoured profile and flat top provide superior comfort and contact between the hands and the putter, and enhanced body alignment.

Multi-material Construction 

The Studio Style Squareback extends Scotty Cameron’s proven design methodology of
incorporating complementary materials to achieve desired performance characteristics. The Squareback has a precision milled 6061 aircraft grade aluminium sole plate expertly designed into the 303 stainless steel putter head, as well as an aluminium heel-toe inlay anodised black, which allows for designed weight distribution, balance and feel.
