What is the Rossignol XV snowboard made for?

The Rossignol XV features a very pronounced directional shape, characterised by a wide, stiff, and pointy nose, a tapered tail, and setback bindings. These elements ensure excellent float in powder and optimal manoeuvrability. Its profile combines a traditional camber underfoot for grip and power, a front rocker for performance in powder, and a slight rear rocker for better manoeuvrability in backcountry. The front rocker is equipped with AmpTek Elite technology, which stiffens the tip for explosive pop. The Greenlight Wood core blends the robustness of paulownia wood with the elasticity of bamboo, optimising the weight-to-power ratio and ensuring dynamic performance in powder. The L.I.T.E. Grip technology absorbs shocks along the entire length of the board and increases torsional stiffness. The Reverse Super Directional construction reinforces stiffness under the front foot, offering precise control and exceptional power.
